New Delhi, November 1: Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi has called the INDIA bloc’s mega rally in Delhi historic. Speaking at the rally on Sunday, he said students, farmers and people from different sections of society had come together to protect the country’s democracy.
“This is historic. The entire nation is now united under the INDIA bloc. Students, farmers and all of us stand together, and we will safeguard the country’s democracy,” Gogoi said.
He also alleged that the BJP was worried about the growing unity among people and the movement led by the opposition alliance.
Congress leader Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury also addressed the gathering. He said he had never seen such a large turnout at a political rally in Delhi during his political career.
Chowdhury claimed that the large public gathering showed growing opposition to the BJP-led government. He also said the ruling party’s exit from power was becoming certain.
