Who will be alive in 30 years? Kharge counters Amit Shah’s claim

Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge, saying he was 85, questioned Amit Shah’s apparent claim about the next 30 years: “Who will survive, who will remain for 30 years?”

Kharge alleged that such assertions were meant to mislead people. He claimed that the claims were being made on the basis of electronic voting machines (EVMs) and the placement of loyalists in key positions.

He further alleged that people associated with the system had themselves raised concerns of irregularities involving the CEC. Kharge also claimed that a woman director was involved in changing voter lists.

Kharge said two members had spoken about the matter themselves, and asked what further evidence was needed if doubts persisted among the media, writers and NGOs. The clip does not identify the alleged members, the director or any specific voter-list changes, and provides no documentary evidence for the claims.
