Bonjyoti Kaudinya Calls Raijor Dal’s Allegations Baseless, Threatens Legal Action

Guwahati, October 29: Dream Wave Studio owner Bonjyoti Kaudinya has rejected allegations raised by two Raijor Dal leaders regarding land ownership and alleged links between the studio and the family of ACS officer Munindra Nath Ngate. Describing the allegations as false and baseless, Kaudinya threatened legal action against those responsible, alleging that the claims were intended to damage his social reputation.

Addressing a press conference at the Guwahati Press Club on Thursday, Kaudinya categorically stated that Dream Wave Studio has no connection with ACS officer Munindra Nath Ngate or his wife.

Clarifying the issue concerning a plot of land in Noonmati, Kaudinya acknowledged that he had paid an advance to purchase the property. He claimed that he later learnt that the owner had allegedly accepted advances from several people in a similar manner. He said he sought a refund, but when the money was not returned, he approached the law. According to Kaudinya, a case concerning the matter is currently pending before the Gauhati High Court. He also clarified that the plot does not belong to Dream Wave Studio.

Challenging the allegations that land is held in the name of Dream Wave, Kaudinya asked the two Raijor Dal leaders to produce documentary evidence to support their claims. He maintained that there is no entity named “Dream Wave Construction”. According to him, the name “Dream Wave Studio” is used for cultural activities, film production and the organisation of cultural events.

Kaudinya further claimed that there are no land documents in the name of Dream Wave Studio. He also said that the name does not have registration documents or a PAN card as a registered entity.

“I conduct business in my personal capacity. Where I buy or sell land is my personal matter. I started my business from scratch through hard work. If I have done anything illegal, they should say so with evidence. But making false allegations against someone they do not even know and causing mental distress is not acceptable,” Kaudinya said.

He reiterated that legal action would soon be initiated against the Raijor Dal leaders over the allegations.

The allegations and explanations in this report are based on Kaudinya’s statements at the press conference. A response from the concerned Raijor Dal leaders was not available in the information provided.
